The AMU Score Project is a digital initiative—led by the Ephraim Amu Foundation—to publish and preserve the works of Ghana’s renowned composer Dr. Ephraim Amu (1899–1995). It offers authoritative musical scores, facsimiles, scholarship, and recordings intended for choirs, scholars, and enthusiasts worldwide. It lives at amuscoreproject.com, featuring catalogs, study resources, and multimedia content.

Problem
• limited accessibility & visibility: many of dr. amu’s works existed only in archives or out-of-print formats, so performers and scholars struggled to access authoritative scores and historical context. • poor brand presentation: the african choral ensemble, which carries the project, lacked a cohesive visual identity and modern outreach across events and digital platforms.
Challange
• Digitization & Cataloguing: Scanning, verifying, and organizing Dr. Amu’s facsimiles, out-of-print copies, and scholarship demanded careful attention to historical accuracy and metadata. • Design Integration: Creating a visual identity (logo, banners, branding materials, and digital touchpoints) that honors Ghanaian musical heritage while remaining fresh and versatile. • User Engagement: Making the website intuitive for different audiences—whether academic, musical, or casual listeners—while promoting events, audio/video content, and score purchase options.
